Classroom Motto/Slogans?
Does anyone have any ideas for a classroom motto or slogan?

Two questions...
1) What is the goal of creating a class motto?
2) What is the grade level you are working with?
-
My purpose for one is because it needs to be included in my classroom management plan for student teaching. I've never really heard of anyone having one, so I've been searching around on the internet for help.
I will be student teaching in second grade, so I plan to keep it at an elementary level, middle school will be the highest I will teach.
If you or anyone can give suggestions, I have really had no luck in finding much yet. Thanks!

I didn't go for elementary ed, but coming up with a class motto is news to me.
Maybe something like..."Learning, Working, and Growing Together"
I'd think about your general philosophy of education and try to create your motto around that.
Let us know what you came up with!

I like the Golden Rule as a kind of overall statement for management. Hmmm... Or, maybe, something about "Learning About and With One Another".

Something like "learning is a team sport"
I teach high school one of my classes referred to me as their coach, test as games, quizzes were scrimmages, classroom practice was their strength training. They each seem to take a role on the "team".
Maybe it could be modified for elementary.

Oooh! I really like that idea!

we start teh year with "room 8 is great!"...so easy when you have an easy ryhme built into your classroom.
I've seen another teacher -- grade 1/2 -- with I Try, I Can on her board.

Great, thanks for the ideas! I'll let you know what I decide
