Ok after posting my last this or that question it came to me to start another game of sorts....more like trivia. Just write a did you know statement.

Cool game, hmmm a random fact.
Did you know that oak trees grow slowly, making the wood hard and good for furniture. Pine trees grow quickly, making the wood soft and not quite so good for furniture (dents easily).

Did you know that bees can be used to detect landmines?
Tiny radio plates the size of a rice grain will be attached to honey bees to detect antipersonnel landmines, of which there are about 100 million in 70 war-torn countries. The tiny radio plates are engraved with serial numbers to keep track of the bees, which are being conditioned to develop a preference in addition to nectar, in this case TNT, or any other material that releases metamphenamine. Special spectrometers that can "smell" TNT are placed in movable beehives to indicate landmines in specific areas. Bees that "smell" explosives can then be tracked to the landmine. The bees won't detonate the landmines.

cool stuff. Those poor bees. I can just imagine the Army trying to exploit this, and with bees so close to total extinction as it is.
I just read about the language of the ants. It is in science magazine's website if youre interested. Apparently, certain butterflies can mimic the language of ants, tricking them to adopt and nurture their larvae.
Bugs are so cool.

Adult frogs are carnivorous and will eat just about anything smaller than themselves, including insects, worms and even other frogs. Some frogs are tiny but the largest, the Goliath frog, is the size of a BABY DEER!
That is what I call one big frog!!

Besides taking over during economic turmoil, both FDR and Obama share a few uncanny similarities as well.
Did you know that both attended private schools in their childhood before attending Columbia and Harvard. Both were presidents of prestigious Harvard newspapers-- for FDR, the Harvard Crimson, for Obama, the Harvard Law Review. They both publicly admitted to smoking cigarettes. They both lived in places called Hyde Park (FDR in NY, Obama in Chicago).

Did you know that when Melville Stone started the Chicago Daily News in 1875, the price was a penny. At first, circulation was high but then dropped off sharply. Stone discovered that the problem was a shortage of pennies in the area. He brought in barrels of pennies and then persuaded merchants to start an “odd-price sale,” selling goods for a penny under the regular price. Thus goods were sold for an amount such as $2,99 (instead of $3). Pennies came back into circulation, Stone sold many newspapers, and we still have odd-price sales tickets.

Did you know that the British are said to have created a tank that is almost invisible to the eye? Apparently its surface is like a screen, taking in images of the surrounding area and projecting them on the surface, so as to create a changing camouflage that overhead airplanes or enemy soldiers can not see it.
