I am going to be teaching a new 8th grade class next year. It's called Applied Concepts in Engineering, similar in scope to a STEM-type class. There is no textbook, but there are standards to cover. It is very hands-on and project-based, with no tests.
I'm in the process of planning the class, and I am trying to get ideas on grading, syllabi, lesson plans, etc from anyone who has taught a similar type class - all suggestions will be appreciated!
