Hi there. My name is Sean and I am teaching English at a magnet middle school in Seoul, Korea. The students are really bright and the facilities are excellent, but I would love to give my 7th graders more one-on-one conversation experience with native English speakers.
We have a computer lab with sixteen computers equipped with webcams and headsets - it would be fantastic if we could set up free VOIP sessions (through skype or similar technology) between our students. Many of the students speak English at a high level having lived abroad and they are also very advanced in math. Perhaps they could tutor your students in math and learn better pronunciation in the process?
Australia would be ideal because of the time zone similarity, but New Zealand could work too. I can cycle all my kids through a slot at 8:45AM-9:30AM (+9GMT) on Mon, Thu, and Fri. So if the following starting time slots work for you at your location I think we could set up a magical cultural and language exchange: 7:45 AM Perth, 9:15 Am Darwin, 10:45 AM Sydney, 12:45 PM NZ, or 1:45 PM Hawaii.
