This is a ball that I grew up playing with. I used to get them at the five and dime store but lately at toys r us at certain times of the year. I most recently found them at Walmart! They only cost one dollar and I must say it is a great toy. They were initially made to be the inside of a tennis ball however for reasons I do not know of and am glad about it is the best ball I ever had. I give one to all of the boys I know and some girls too. The ones that show interest. Then too to my childrens friends. They don't hurt if you get hit with them and for sure would help a child learn how to catch without fear of being hurt. You can grab it right out of the air with one hand. Anyway, I was recently visiting back in N.J. when the mailman came by and saw me playing with the boys in the family with one of the balls. He had to stop and chat saying that it was so good to see someone playing curbball again after so many years. He too played with it when he was a boy. I tell you turn the kids onto this. It could be life changing for so many.

Whether its a high bounce pinky or a frisbee, just getting outside with your kids on a regular basis and doing things with them is life changing.

Yes that is so true. I am reminiscing. Back in my day we played with the pinky ball, army men and rubber bands, and wooden tops. All of which I have turned my children on to. I can not force anything on anyone so I try to show them me enjoying it so that they will want what I have. This is how classic rock still exists, no? Nothing wrong with frisbees though.

I want what you have, Dhe! I have never heard of High Bounce Pinky. Would you please explain how you play?
