Dumb Question :(

Hey! This may be a dumb question, but what is the breakdown for English in High School? For example, 11th grade is basically American Literature. What about 9th grade, 10th grade, and 12th grade? These are OHIO classrooms.

There should be a program of studies on the Ohio department of education website. It outlines all of that.

When I taught high school--not in Ohio--grades 9 & 10 were "survey of world literature". Grade 11 was American literature, and grade 12 was British literature. All of the grades also included writing & grammar.
