House on Mango

Hey teachers - I just started teaching House on Mango Street (9th graders) with a focus on identity, the who am I question. I started late in the school year with little materials/help. I've looked online but many of the resources aren't entirely useful. Has anyone taught this book before who can offer advice/suggestions? Useful lessons? I'd really appreciate it.
