Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson..activities?!?!!

Hey...
I am finishing up the 2nd Marking Period of Speak in my Sophomre English Class. I feel like things are getting redundant, and I was wondering if anyone who has read this, or taught this, could give me some exciting activities to do tomorrow? I just wanna make things more interesting!!! Let me know.
We have already written a paper, and done many things with vocabulary, literary devices, and journal writing. By the end they will do a symbolism project with a picture they find, and quite possibly a research assignment. Any FUN ideas would be great =)

I am writting a unit plan for Speak and there are some great ideas if you go to Lauria Halse Anderson's website. She has some unit plans included that are great for symbolism with a poem called Elephant in the Room. Also maybe have your class research a service project and vote on which one they want to do like the Marthas in the book. Just an idea....
