HI, I had started a thread about this earlier, but I thought that if I included the interview template, someone may be more inclined to fill it out for me :o)
A couple of people had volunteered, but I haven't heard back: I just want to make sure that i have something to turn into my professor this week, and I would be so appreciative !
The questions are below.

Interview Questions

How do you feel about:
1. Work satisfaction ?
• How has teaching differed from what you expected while you were preparing to become a teacher?
2. Personal challenges ?
• One of the things that seems overwhelming to me is the idea of trying to balance the needs of all of my future students, at the same time. I want to make sure that I am giving them all the individual attention they need, in all areas of development. Is that something that has been difficult for you, and is it something that has gotten easier the longer you teach?
3. Successes ?
4. Needs as a teacher ?
• What things do you feel like you need from the school, the community, the government, and from parents in order to succeed as a teacher? Which if those groups seems to be the most supportive, and what kinds of things could they do differently to help you succeed; subsequently, helping our children to succeed.

Interview Questions

How do you feel about:
1. Work satisfaction ?
• I'm still in school, while teaching. It is completely different than what I thought it would be. One thing that I've always heard teachers say thats 100% true, "The kids make it worth coming back". You have to deal with a lot in one day, and sometimes your thinking "why did I want to do this again", but then you get one of those kids that come and tell you that your the best teacher they had, or give you a card etc... It really makes it worth it.

From the little bit of time I've had, I can already see the difference between the very independent students and the ones that will need extra help. Thats the thing about 30 kids to a room...You teach the best you can, and most of the time you'll end up with some "helpers" who can work with other students too, so you aren't always trying to give 30 kids individual attention.
3. Successes ?
4. Needs as a teacher ?
• What things do you feel like you need from the school, the community, the government, and from parents in order to succeed as a teacher? Which if those groups seems to be the most supportive, and what kinds of things could they do differently to help you succeed; subsequently, helping our children to succeed.

I haven't dealt much with the parents...yet. But other teachers seem to really be the support. You become like a little family, and the other teachers help you out when your stuck in a rut. Sometimes I wish they had better curriculum set up. As a new teacher (who got hired after the school year started). It was very difficult to come up with my own unique curriculum with nothing to go off of...but myself. I had no layout plan to follow, it was simply. "here is your grade book, and blank paper for your lesson plan...good luck". Very scary. :

I hope I helped. Like i said I'm VERY new...so I don't have a whole lot of experience like most others on here will have. But I wanted to help. :)
