How old are your kids?

You could make a memory mural or book together. They could also make a video with you. You set up a camera and let them comment on what they thought of the year.

Yes, I did a memory book with my kids. They helped to create the pages, and I put it all together for them.
I teach 6th grade by the way. We included the following:

Class Predictions (Each kid predicted where they think their fellow classmates will be in their adult years. The students each had their own ballot and I just picked the occupation that was highest in total for each kid.)

Most Memoriable Moment of the year

Funniest Moment of the year

Class Will (Each kid said what they would leave for one or two of their fellow classmates if needed. IE -- John leaves Jane a big fluffy coat to wear since she is always cold in class.)

My Famous Quotes

Autograph Page

I also took pictures and added those to the memory book.

The kids decorated their own coversheets and I laminated them for the students. Punched holes in all the sheets and put it together for the kids and held it together with string. The kids really loved it and I am happy to have memories of my first classes. I am sad it is ending, but also happy b/c they drive me insane. lol

The book sounds totally awesome! Sometimes, I wish my kids were old enough to do something like that...

I teacher first grade special education, I'm not sure all of my students would be able to do that, but it is a great idea!!

Thanks! I agree, it is geared toward older students.

Hmmm, maybe you could do handprints or something like that. Have each kid to make two sets, one for you to keep (and make a book out of) and one for them to take home.

This website has several ideas for end of the year for younger kiddies.

I hope that helps!!! :-D

I put together a class memory book with awards for each student. Some of the awards this year were: most improved in reading, silliest, most organized, most creative. I printed up a certificates with each student's name, then had them finish a certificate for another student by writing the award name and designing a little drawing that represented the award. I made copies and bound all of them together, with each student receiving a book with the original of their award. I made a cover with our class picture on it. The last three pages were for notes to each other, and I wrote a personal note to each student.
