So I almost didn't post this until tomorrow, because I'm a greedy SOB who can only think of myself when it comes to cheap books. But....
Green Apple is a bookstore in downtown San Fran, and they have a warehouse where they keep their extra stock. This warehouse is having a by-the-pound sale, with it only being 99 CENTS for a pound of books. Of course, books are heavy. But according to their website, they do carry children's books and sometimes those aren't quite as heavy as other books.
I have already ordered my husband to get his arse home with the car so I can carry off my booty in style. Let me know if anyone else plans on going-could be fun to meet some of you.
Perhaps this is making a mountain out of a molehole, and there may not be anything worth pursuing. But still-you gotta check it out for 99 CENTS a pound!!
