I teach 6th grade language arts. I am wanting to read another novel as a class. The only avilable options at my school (b/c other class sets of books have already been claimed) are The Westing Game and Belle Prater's Boy. I was courious to see if anyone has any resources on either/both of these books. I have not read them myself, but am going to read them over the weekend to see which one I think my kids would like the best.
Thanks so much! :)

Even though neither of your books are on the following site, it is AMAZING. When I taught language arts, this website was so valuable. Please check it out for your next novel - it has activities, discussion questions, project ideas, interdisciplinary connections, chapter quizes, novel tests, etc. You do NOT have to pay or sign up!!

I don't have any resources to offer up for either novel, but looking back to when I was in 7th grade, I had to read The Westing Game and loved it! I teach 7th grade LA now and think that my kids would like it. We are doing a unit on The Outsiders now though.
