I teach students with autism. Our entire program
(preschool - grade 8) is receiving training in ICON
exchange communication systems, ABA (discrete trials and
pivotal response training), social stories, and structured
teaching (TEACCH). We have heard very little about Floor
Time. Have any of you used this technique and, if so, have
you found it to be effective?
