Hi my name is Delila and I am new here, and I have seen that alot of people here work with two yaer olds, well, this is my problem. I have been working in a child care senter for over a year now as teachers aid, and I took the position as the two year old teacher there. At first everything was fine, calm, peaceful. Then I got three young twos from the one year old class, and it ahs been all downhill from there. It got to the point that none of my children really listen to me anymore and the class has gotten alot louder, I remind them to use inside voices but it really doesnt work. I do not know where I went wrong but I really need some advice on what I could do next to get control back of my classroom. If anyone could offer suggestions I would be very greatful.

I used to work in a day care center and whenever a younger child moved up into my room I would take my entire class and we would walk around the room and talk about the rules at each center and then sit down at circle time and talk about the rules of the classroom. This may help because your rules may be different than the rules of the other class.

Thanks I talked to the owner of my daycare and I didnt realize that you COULD teach young two year olds rules in the classroom, I also have twos that really do not want anyone near them, and my room is real small, it barely holds 9. So that also causes a problem.
