Hi,
if anyone have some sources (web pages etc.) about John Steinbeck and his authorship I'd be immensely greatful. My class is reading Of Mice and Men, and I'm simply looking for something to give the students' work a more cutting edge. Not just the ordinary stuff. :) Winter holidays in Norway now. It lasts for one week.

You might try having your students read "Travels with Charlie". John S.* wrote it about his travels throughout the country, and you kind of get to know him through it.
* Yes, I'm too lazy to spell out his last name. Sorry, John.

Spot on, Chef Dave. Just the thing I was looking for. Brilliant links. I might be forced to ask you for some great recipes on, lets say, King Crab as well.:)
Thanks for your advice, Boxcar. Sounds interesting as you probably get the geography bit in as well.
