Does anyone use a remote to advance a powerpoint presentation from across the room (not using the keyboard or mouse). I really like walking around the room as I talk and having to go back to the computer is sometimes distracting. I know these types of devices work but was wondering which one might be the best? Any thoughts?

I purchased a Gyrotools Gyration handheld remote and mouse for my home PC and am really happy with it. It will work well with your application since it has a great range (I can change my music on the computer when outside) and it doubles as a corldess mouse when you set it on the table. You can even operate the mouse pointer with some practice from afar. It has a handy charging base and built in rechargeable battery. It is a bit pricey, but worth it. I think I spent like $70 on it. You may be able to get a better deal on ebay.
