Got a question...

What kind of incentive stuff are ya'll getting for your students to reward them for taking the state mandated test(s)? And doing well?

For Example...stickers?

We get $$$ if a certain amt of our kids pass...

Have you found that to work? Our District is thinking just the opposite - our jobs might be switched if our kids do NOT pass the test! Talk about a negative reward system.
Don't know about all of you, but I hate what teaching has become due to the state testing and our need to produce numbers that can be published in a newspaper to help sell real estate (at least in my part of the country!)
