Staff Christmas Party?

Every year at Christmas my staff goes out to eat. Staff only, no spouses.... Not everyone goes, but the majority do. The school picks up the tab for our meal BTW.

What do you do?

We have had various types of parties.. Last year, we ate out..Spouses were able to attend.. BUT we paid a set amount. This year, we are having a pot luck type of party and it will be held after school on the last day. I guess it all depends on who is planning the party :)

We have a meal at someone's house that is paid for via our "SOCIAL COMMITTEE" dues. We all bring an appetizer or a dessert though. Spouses are invited to the party and attendance is pretty good with the certified/teaching staff. Our paraeducators and janitorial staff rarely show up.

Next year, we are hoping to do a "staff only" party for once. We haven't really bonded as a complete staff since we've been open during the last 7 years.
