I am trying to locate the Judy McCoy that taught in Grundy, Va. around 1969. Her married name is Little. Her last known location was in Ashland, Ky.

She taught me Englishin 1969. I am trying to find her to thank her for her tremendous teaching skills. I know of at least one other student that has been trying to find her for the same reason.

Wow, I hope she is still around and "find-able".
I wish I could find some of my teachers from the 60's & 70's to thank them too.
Good Luck.

I didn't know about this post because it predates my participation on TTC. "Looking for..." posts are fair game, but I think something should be said about them. I hope the administrators don't think I'm out of line here, so if they disagree, I welcome the deletion of this response.

The World-Wide Web is a powerful tool for locating people, but certain cautions should be given as a protection for the owners of the message-board and for the subject of this post. First, you probably don't know anything about the original poster; thus, you shouldn't assume that it's okay to pass along any kind of personal information about Ms. McCoy. If you do know how to contact her, the appropriate response would be to let her know that this message exists and if she cares to establish contact with "crystal," she can do that on her own or even respond here on the board.

If you are looking for someone, please leave contact information here: an email and a name would be a good place to start.

Yes, it is a shame that we can't assume good faith in a place like this, but that's the reality of the world we live in.

Good luck finding your former teacher. I would start with a short note to the school you attended; schools often have forwarding addresses for former teachers.

Yes, you are right....I guess if they allow it on these boards, the boards would be filled with "looking for" messages. Sorry I revisted this one!

There's nothing wrong with a "looking for..." message, so don't apologize. I was simply offering a little caveat to anyone who wanted to offer the original poster some info.
