Attention EVERYONE, especially School Administrators, Parents & Future Parents … support the push for your state to adopt the Amistad Bill which has become a law that requires public schools include the teaching of African American contributions within everyday Science Text Books as well as American and World history text books. This law was just passed in the state of New Jersey on Aug. 28th, 2002 … again ... it is called the 'Amistad Bill.' Help us get it passed in your state.

"What about all the other ethnic groups?" is a question that some people pose once they have read this information. The answer is ... we encourage any historian of any ethnic group that brings creditable diverse historical information to the school curriculum. For it is this type of information that will teach our children not to be racist ... it teaches them that all people have the ability to make intellectual contributions to our everyday lives. White America has always made sure eurocentric is thoroughly represented in most all textbooks in the public school system.

Johnson C. Smith Alumni, Ray Mapp has been commissioned by the Honorable William Payne (author of the Amistad Bill) of the New Jersey General Assembly to join in the production of a documentary for television that brings awareness to the making and implementation of this landmark Amistad legislation. "This is the only law to pass in recent history that can truly improve race relations all over America and the world," says Ray. There is no doubt ignorance breeds racism and a weaker nation.

Ray will be joining Eric and Lisa Payne (William Payne’s Son & Daughter) of New Breed Film Productions in order to produce this monumental documentary.

If you or your company has any interest in making a financial contribution to the making of this documentary, please email Ray at purpose7@hotmail.com. Funds are desperately needed for production to be completed by August of 2004.

Ray Mapp has designed and authored a book-on-a-poster that focuses on over 200 scientific contributions of African American men and women entitled 'Black Miracles'. Mapp now owns and operates a publishing company called Purpose Publishing, Inc.

For more information call Ray Mapp / Purpose Publishing, Inc. at 828-242-7069 or email him at purpose7@hotmail.com.
